Meant To BE Yours Cosmetics
Under the mentorship of Nazanine Afshar, former mentee of Margot Chase, I am creating the makeup brand Meant To Be Yours Cosmetics, which celebrates prominent women in history by combining individual self-expression with bold graphic design presentation.
Mood Board
This was the initial mood board for the project. The concept was art deco/art nouveau doll. This idea quickly expanded from a singular historical focus to a wider focus on the impacts women have made as a whole as tastemakers and game-changers in society, beyond a finite era.
Logo Design
Inspire by vampiric eternal youth and multi-cultural mythos, the “M” logo represents the eternal impact of countless women on bettering society as we know it today and well into the future beyond.
In keeping with the core of the project, I will be creating five collections for Meant To Be Yours Cosmetics, each based on five extraordinary women.
